Not only do we have two lifetimes worth of experience and knowledge, it’s pretty much in our blood.

You see, Yampa Valley Embroidery is a family-owned business, operated by the mother-daughter team of Birthe “Bitti” Wiik and Birgitta Lindgren. We’ve been embroidering, sewing, and weaving all of our lives.

Both of us know – and love – fabric, thread, color, and embroidery. That means we know just what size needles to use, how the fabric of the product will look after it’s washed, and which of our 640 colors of thread would work best for your design.

We started out with one embroidery machine in one small room and now, ten years later, have several state-of-the-art machines that are humming along just about all the time. (You might hear them in action when you call!)
