Jim and Dave Grady got an early education in customer service. Their father Tom was a White Plains Police officer who operated a janitorial business on the side. Growing up working for SEMCO (South East Maintenance Corp.) and later Certified Maintenance of Danbury taught Jim and Dave many of the skills they would later use.

In 1986 Jim & Dave purchased Maintenance Company of Danbury, a window cleaning & janitorial service company. They sold off the janitorial portion and focused exclusively on window cleaning. In 1988 Nanuet Window Cleaning was purchased, the two were merged to form Tri-State Window Cleaning. In 1990 we began to offer additional exterior building services such as waterproofing, rigging, bird abatement, caulking & power washing.

We have been committed to safety since our inception and our safety program was custom designed by the International Window Cleaning Certification Institutes Safety Director and ANSI I-14's Chairman Stefan Bright. In over 20 years we have served hundreds of satisfied customers and have had strong growth through both sales and acquisitions; purchasing Reliable Window Cleaners in 1992, CleanRite Window Cleaning in 1999, and Sunset in 2006. However, our mission has remained the same; Provide quality services at competitive prices in a safe environment.
