Thrasher Engineering, Inc. is a civil engineering consulting firm, specializing in public works projects. We are a West Virginia company and are proud of that distinction. The majority of our work involves publicly funded water treatment and distribution systems, sewage collection and treatment systems and industrial and business parks. Over $400 million in water, sewer, site development, survey and construction management projects have been designed and supervised by the firm in its 20-year history.



With a commitment to excellence and professionalism in engineering, H. Wood Thrasher and Henry A. Thrasher formed Thrasher Engineering, Inc. in 1983 and primarily concentrated on public utility projects. In 1997, Thrasher Engineering acquired an environmental engineering firm in Charleston, West Virginia, and opened Thrasher Environmental to serve the southern part of the state.



Through growth and expansion we now provide a greater variety of services and locations to serve our clients. The majority of our work involves water treatment and distribution systems, sewage collection and treatment systems, industrial and business parks, site development, highways, bridges and airports, along with environmental engineering. Thrasher Engineering's Field Services Division provides surveying services, construction management and inspection along with materials testing. Through an affiliate company, we also offer architecture services to meet our clients' needs.
