We are a group of Clinton County citizens who are very dedicated to protecting and savings the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in Clinton County. All of our animals are vet-checked and altered before their adoption to insure they are healthy when they find their loving family and home and to help control the animal population. We have wonderful dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption. If you want to add a new member to the family, consider adopting one of our special orphans.

Volunteer? Here at the Clinton County Humane Society, we rely on our volunteers for their time, talents, hard work and compassion to accomplish our goal of finding wonderful loving homes for the discarded dogs and cats in Clinton County. If you are interested in volunteering, or just have questions about it, please email Us .
Our New Programs? In May, 2010, our new low-cost ?Feline Neuter/Spay Day? was started. Held once a month, we are averaging 40 cats per day. Please call to make an appointment.
Project Abigail, which began in 2009, is an ongoing program where we spay/neuter the father and mother of a litter that we take in at no cost. We take in an average of two litters per week.
Adoptions? In 2009 we found homes for 965 previously homeless animals. Thanks go to our wonderful caring volunteers and to our dedicated individuals who bring us supplies and funds.
Our Shelter? In 2006, we moved our dogs and cats into our large, very comfortable new shelter. The dogs have outside runs as well as large fenced-in area where they can run and play. The floor of their inside space is heated keeping them warm in the cold winter weather. Our cats have their own room where they are free to play and sleep.
Future projects?A variety of programs are in the planning stages. Developing a process of assisting pets that are orphaned by their deceased owners and chipping the animals in case of lost pets.
Donations? As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, donating to the Clinton County Humane Society is deductible to the full extent of the law. Your donation can help animals find homes and receive veterinary care, and you can deduct donations on your taxes (consult your tax advisor for more information)
