Aircraft Ground Power Assemblies are required to deliver ground power to aircraft when parked or in hangers when undergoing inspection or repair. The Skyko International manufactures 400 Hz AC ground power assemblies, 28 Volt DC ground power assemblies for use in the ground support of aircraft in both the commercial and military markets. Our products support mainline aircraft, regional aircraft, turbo props, business jets, and military aircraft. We manufacture our products to MS 25486, MS 25488, ISO 461.1, 461.2, MS 903286, Mil C 7974. The electrical cable used by Skyko is qualified to Mil-C-5756. Skyko International also manufactures the 270 Volt DC ground power assembly for the F-22 and F-35 aircraft.

Skyko International manufactures the DC fast charging assembly used by the Posicharge System, which is a product of Aerovironment, Inc.
In undersea applications, the companyâ??s cable assemblies connect all operating parts of the Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV), including information processing, motors, tools, accessory equipment, lighting and cameras.

The Founders of Skyko International, LLC, Preston and Krista Shultz, bring 25 years of experience providing ground support products to airlines and airports worldwide.

From 1986 to 2006 Preston was responsible for design, engineering, manufacturing, marketing & sales at Burton Electric Engineering and has been credited with that companyâ??s revival and growth through multiple owners. Prestonâ??s combination of experience from initial design through finished product plus experience with the product in the field equips us with a unique ability to identify and rapidly respond to the ground support industryâ??s growing need for improvements in product design and distribution patterns. We have recently developed our NEXT Gen 28 Volt DC plug developed, which eliminates the plug flex, which causes power and control cable failures.

As a woman owned business, Skyko offers the opportunity for many of its customers to fulfill their obligation to that minority community.

Skykoâ??s facility is equipped with an entire machine shop to build our own tooling; HAAS 20 HP VF-1 using VX CAD/CAM End to End. Our three dimensional software tool has the ability to build unique shapes in rubber-molded plugs.

Skyko has established its production facility in Plattsburg, New York is equipped with all necessary manufacturing equipment to serve our customers.
