Users can send their “Friends” exact locations of where they’re fishing and/or hunting. The locations are tagged as specific types of “Hot Spots”, for example, Yellowtail “Hot Spot” or Blue Fin Tuna “Hot Spot”. Google Maps has been integrated into the Salt Rights software, ensuring rapid/accurate GPS location services.

If a fisherman ever has trouble finding the bait & tackle shop nearest him (perhaps a fishing guide, scuba guide, something of the sort), all he would have to do is tap on the Salt Rights “Guide Locator”. The “Guide Locator” will display the fisherman’s GPS location, as well as the location of all the shops/guides in his area.
