The company's corporate engineers responsible for the manufacture of a line of proprietary plastic closures used worldwide, originally developed a temperature control system to meet their own exacting need for a compact, safe, and efficient means of maintaining close control over their fast-cycle injection molding machines - hence Mokon was born.

Mokon History Timeline

First water system designed in 1955 - now over 400 standard configurations of heating and flow capacities are offered.

First heat transfer hot oil system followed in the late 1950's for higher temperature applications.

Chiller family introduced in early 1990's. Full range system is still unique today,
combining a chiller and water temperature control system in one system.

In 2003, Mokon added central chillers and pump tanks. Cooling towers and outdoor air-cooled central chiller systems came along in 2006.

2007/2008 - Cold climate cooler systems and blown film coolers

2009 - Power and process control panels

2010 - Expanded portable chiller line to 40 Tons and HTF 350 Series heat transfer oil systems to 24 kW
