While we have plenty of space for you to sit back and relax while you fish, our Portland Pheasant hunts are what we’re known for. Quail hunting in Franklin and the surrounding areas is why visitors come in from all different areas including Lafayette, Knoxville, Murfreesboro, Bowling Green and more. All of our hunts are guaranteed and you will enjoy your time with 60 years of experience guiding you along. For Upland Chukar hunts, Pheasant hunts in Portland, Quail hunting in Franklin or a good old fashioned fishing trip, call Meadow Brook Game Farm today. Meadow Brook Game Farm has great fishing at our 10-acre lake. We stock our lake once a week with farm-raised channel catfish weighing anywhere from 2 to 8 pounds. In 2001, a fisherman caught a 45-lb catfish from our lake. Fishing at the pay lake is $12.00 per person for 8 hours or five (5) catfish, (5) bass, (5) crappy whichever comes first. There is no limit on bluegill and shell cracker. Fishing hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, April through September. We also welcome church groups and other organizations for picnics and fishing
