Specializing in international entertainment business, Hayato' s experience and expertise lie in understanding the gap that exists between the US and Japanese entertainment industries and identifying opportunities that exist because of this. Through his endeavors to promote mutual appreciation between Hollywood and Japan, Hayato co-founded the Japan Film Society, a 501c3 non-profit organization that introduces Japanese film and culture here in the US. As president, he leads the JFS to conduct events, screenings, seminars, and the LA EigaFest, an annual film festival showcasing the best of contemporary Japanese cinema for the mainstream American audience.

Hayato received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles and holds a BA in Business and Commerce from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan.
