Established in 2006 but with more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of electrical engineering and physics applications. With expertise in high voltage, high current, pulsed power science applications including RF microwave generation/radiation, e-beam generation and pulse forming networks. Experience in both broadband and narrow band RF. Along with work in RF generation and radiation we have experience in RF shielding techniques.
A major portion of our work has been in the area of high voltage breakdown of insulating media, including gases, liquids and solids. Thus electrical insulation of high voltages has also been a major focus. Empirical studies of most insulating schemes including gases, liquids, and solids, layered, composites, epoxies, silicones, urethanes, hot melts, and tailored dielectrics. We have used almost all of these as insulating techniques for at least one pulsed high power system over the years and have first hand experienced of the capabilities and limitations of each.
We have expertise in designing, fielding, calibration and analysis of a variety of diagnostics including electrical (fast self integrating D-dots, B-dots, Rogowski coils, Faraday cups, calorimeters, current viewing resistors, etc.), optical (fast framing cameras, intensified CCD cameras, streak cameras, photo-multiplier tubes), and radiative (x-ray transport, Cherenkov radiation).
We specialize in desigining and fabricating compact High voltage pulsed transformer systems as well as compact very high dV/dt pulse systems. We have capabilities in EM field analysis and systtem diagnostics as well.
