Who We Are

Jeff's Marine is a year-round, full-service boat-and-motor dealership serving the Maine coast from Belfast to Boothbay. Our customers vary from hard-working, island-based lobster fishermen to vacationing families who simply like to enjoy and explore local waters.



Owned and operated continuously since 1982 by longtime Thomaston resident Jeff Armstrong, Jeff's Marine has always made delivering excellent service its highest priority. Most of our customers have been with us for many years, if not decades, and we're proud to call them friends.



What We Sell

Jeff's Marine is the oldest and largest dealer of Yamaha outboards in Maine. Although we have sold other brands in the past, Yamaha motors have proven to us their superiority in design, performance, and—especially—durability in salt water.



For 20 years, our premier boat line has been Parker, built by the same family-owned company that started the operation back in the late 1970s. These boats are extremely rugged, seaworthy, and easy to maintain. Given their quality, performance, and value retention, the Parkers are also an excellent buy.



Many of these characteristics are shared by our Carolina Skiffs (fiberglass) and our Duranautic utilities (aluminum). These boats are all extremely simple and can be set up to meet virtually any need, from tending a commercial aquaculture operation to towing the kids on inflatable toys.



Anchoring our fleet is the Crowley-Beal 23, a handsome down-east-style model that is built especially for us in Milbridge, east of Ellsworth. This fully trailerable, easily customized boat performs beautifully in rough water and needs only a single 115-h.p. outboard to achieve speeds in the mid-20s. The Crowley-Beal 23 is an exemplary day boat or weekend cruiser.
