J.R. Watson & Associates Development Corp, was founded in January 1972 by James R. Watson, President and CEO. Before forming the Company, Mr. Watson received a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Real Estate Finance from San Jose State after which he spent 1967 – 1971, as Chief Real Estate Appraiser and Director of Real Estate for Downey Savings and Loan.



Since its inception, the Company has focused on high quality, community sensitive development of mixed-use, residential, retail and office complexes exceeding $1 Billion in market value. With more than 35 developments in California, Oregon, Idaho and Washington. J. R.
