IMOCO began operations in 1964 as Industrial Maintenance Overflow Corporation. Charles Collins and 3 men began operations in a small metal building in Hendersonville, North Carolina specializing in industrial projects.

Through the decades IMOCO focused on performance and dependability, while gaining experience in all areas of mechanical/industrial maintenance and construction. Customers came from across the Southeast, with a focus on Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas.

In 1983, IMOCO moved to an 8 acre facility in Fletcher, North Carolina, with 40,000 square feet of office, fabrication, storage and maintenance facilities. Substantial growth included new services, enlarged equipment, market diversification, computerization and work force expansion to 150 employees.

In 2006, long term company executive, Rodney Pressley, moved into ownership and became president of IMOCO. Today, IMOCO stands on ‘Equipped Experience’ as they continue to build upon their past successes to grow their mechanical/industrial contractor business
