Company history:

What was started as a small shop in Gaithersburg Maryland, founded by Stephan Smith, is now a 30,000 sq. foot plant with over 50 employees, state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and in-house metal fabrication capability. GCM is located between Gainesville and Warrenton, Virginia about 35 miles west of Washington DC.
Most important strengths and core competencies:
Through many years of hard work, GCM has built a reputation of producing high quality products with integrity and the highest standard of customer service. We have the willingness and flexibility to work as team players to achieve the desired quality and on time completion of a project.
We specialize in creating architectural millwork for contemporary, as well as traditional, commercial environments, including, but not limited to institutions, museums, offices, restaurants, public and private spaces, as well as high end residential. We are multi-level tasked in that our shop integrates solid wood and veneer components with stone, glass, metal, solid surface and fabrics per architectural designs. Our welding and light metal shop enables us to control many aspects of this integration by incorporating structural components “in-house. We have never failed to complete a project.
