Energy Marketing Services, Inc. (EMS) is comprised of two divisions - 1.) Raw Materials Supply, and 2.) Food Ingredients Supply. These two separate, yet niche-oriented, divisions offer unique solutions to our customer's needs. Our expertise, experience, and knowledge of the markets we serve have enabled us to develop/maintain/grow our network of customers and suppliers to allow for the most efficient use of the materials we market.

We attribute our success to developing and maintaining strong customer relationship. We pride ourselves on offering excellent customer service, shipping according to schedule, and working out unforeseen developments. We obtain the optimal price for our supplier and simultaneously deliver at a fair market value to our customer.

We consider ourselves to be a "Green" organization. We take any opportunity we can to reuse or recycle any materials or ingredients that are offered to us. We know the simple solution is to landfill. We search out solutions for reuse and recycle.

Raw Material Supply Division
Our Raw Material Division markets gypsum (both natural and synthetic), clay, mill scale, fly ash, bottom ash, limestone and coal, to name a few.
We also provide "green" solutions where our customer's by-products that were once earmarked for the landfill have been tested and analyzed for reuse in another industry. We evaluate the by-product streams and determine the best use/reuse ("Green") of these materials.
Food Ingredient Supply Division
Our Food Ingredients Division merchandises an extensive line of ingredients to the food and animal feed industries.
We work with dairy producers and manufacturers to provide high quality milk protein ingredients. Our primary industry focus is Dairy and Milk Proteins where we supply high quality ingredients to the ice cream, confectionary, bakery and sports nutritional companies.

We provide our food suppliers with markets for both their #1 product as well as short coded products. When these suppliers have short coded finished products or raw materials that are no longer suitable for human consumption, we offer options for the recycle or reuse of this "inventory". Our value is to help our suppliers both recoup a portion of their production cost as well as to provide a sales channel for these products.

By utilizing our extensive network of food manufacturer's and expert technical knowledge, we are able to work closely with our buyers to evaluate who can use our supplier's products within their specifications. Our supplier's off spec and post-dated products that are no longer suitable for human consumption have "value" in some sectors of the animal feed industry. While we specialize in Dairy and Dairy Proteins, we also supply ingredients in adjacent industries.

Transportation

EMS's network of over 500 independent trucking partners enables us to provide reliable and consistent ways to transport materials. In addition to truck transportation, EMS has solid relationships with rail and barge companies to move material throughout the domestic market.
