Our service area includes 50, 000 individuals in the heart of Dorchester, recording 90, 000 clinical visits each year.



The strength of the Codman Square Health Center lies in both the quality of our health care providers and clinical facilities, as well as in the depth and breadth of our community services. Our initiatives address the social, emotional and educational needs of adults and youth while celebrating the cultural and ethnic diversity of the community and the potential of every individual.



Our focus on primary care at Codman Square is based on a practice model that enables us to provide care for every family member throughout his or her life. We treat the whole person, not just the disease.



We employ a staff of licensed medical professionals including family practice physicians, OB/gynecology physicians, pediatricians, internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse midwives, nurses and medical assistants, as well as dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, social workers, optometrists, behavioral health counselors, psychiatrists and psychologists. Our staff is multi-lingual and multi-cultural, and fluent in Haitian Creole, Spanish, French and more.



Codman Square Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and receives federal support through its designation as a Section 330 community health center.
