Established as a fashion design and production company dedicated to providing style and quality with competitive pricing, Castle Hill Apparel’s history dates back to the 1940’s when Oscar Schlossberg began a knitwear manufacturing company in New York City’s garment center. Under the tutelage of its current Chairman, Martin Schlossberg, Castle Hill Apparel began its bold and innovative move into offshore manufacturing in 1964 when it initiated production in Italian factories. Starting in 1969, the Company moved to the Pacific Rim, Indian Continent and in Central and South America shifting the landscape for the dress business. By the turn of the Millennium, Castle Hill Apparel had acquired the Karin Stevens, K Studio, R&K Evening, R& K Original and After Dark Labels, representing a cross section of moderately priced women’s clothing ranging from career wear to evening styles across a variety of price points, sizes and fabrications. In 2005, the Madison Leigh division, the subject of a recent New York Post business feature, was started to address a more contemporary fashionable woman and to meet the changing needs of the consolidated department store conglomerates.

Today, the Company’s International presence includes offices in New York, Los Angeles, India, Sri Lanka, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Philippines and China. Fashion, value and quality combine with the finest technology assuring efficient and accurate ordering, shipping and delivery as hallmarks of the Castle Hill tradition.
