On June 28, 1989 we were incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation as a Pre-Admission Screening (PAS), serving Tazewell and Woodford counties. We operated under the name of PAS until the first service expansion in January 1994. The expansion added an additional five (5) counties, as well as, Case Coordination services and Bogard Service Coordination.

At this time, the name was changed to Central Illinois Service Access.

We provide independent service and advocacy services, Pre-Admission screening and case coordination to individuals with developmental disabilities in conjunction with Medicaid Waiver funding through the Illinois Department of Human Services.

In 1998, in conjunction with the Department of Human Services, Office of Rehabilitative Services, we began case management services for the Brain Injury Home Service Program. At that time, we covered 20 counties. Due to the demand for these services, this has spread to 30 counties.

On March 17, 2008 we merged our Pekin (Administrative) office and our Springfield (satellite) office to one location in Lincoln, IL.
