Dr. Kerwin B. Lee was born in Mansfield, Louisiana to the parents of Philip and Thelma Lee. Although born in Louisiana, he was reared and educated in Los Angeles, California. After completing high school Dr. Lee accepted a basketball scholarship to attend Central Arizona College in Cooledge, Arizona. He graduated from there with an Associate Arts Degree in General Education.
Dr. Lee furthered his basketball career by attending the University of Alaska- Fairbanks, where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
It was while in Alaska that he heard and accepted his call to preach. Being obedient to the call, Dr. Lee enrolled into the Inter-denominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned a Master of Divinity Degree in Christian Education. He is also the recipient of a Doctorate of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr.Lee has served as:
• Counselor with the Billy Graham Crusade
• Student pastor in Kingston, Jamaica
• Full-time Youth Pastor and Minister of Education
• Staff member for the Young Life Christian organization
Currently Senior Pastor of the Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
He is the founder and president of "A Word for the Times," ministries. He has also authored a book entitled, "Winning The Battle Over Negative Emotions."
Pastor Kerwin B. Lee is rapidly becoming an influential force in the Christian community through out the United States. He is a widely sought out author and speaker at revivals, conferences, seminars, workshops, and retreats.
