History and Description of ABC Security Service, Inc: ABC has been providing Superior Security Service since 1968. The company is a California corporation that has been locally owned and operated since 1989 by Ana Chretien, a well-respected Hispanic Bay Area businesswoman. ABC is also a dedicated minority hiring company and many of our guards and management personnel are bi-lingual. There are no parent or junior affiliations with another corporation or company, nor are there any planned or pending corporate mergers or acquisitions.

ABC employs about 200-250 California certified security personnel. We specialize in providing security services to a wide variety of public entity clients that have included the U.S. Federal GSA, County of Alameda, Cities of Alameda, Berkeley, Hayward, Oakland, and Richmond. We have provided airport, maritime and transit security to the U.S. Maritime Administration, Ports of Oakland and San Francisco and various transit authorities throughout the Bay Area. In addition, ABC has a long list of private businesses and corporations that currently utilize our services. Through these successful service partnerships we provide service to between 50-70 Bay Area and Northern California clients. Over the past several years ABC has realized an average of between $7-$9 million in gross annual revenue.

ABC focuses its security service on providing uniformed guards and professional attired security agents to strategic locations identified by the client and our security specialists. The advent of the 9-11 tragedy has reinforced the need for a more observant and better trained guard service. To address this special need, ABC has assembled an in-house team of Homeland Security specialists who currently train and work closely with local, state and federal law enforcement and maritime authorities.
